Editorial Policy
How we research, write, and keep our content accurate.
Last updated: November 1, 2026
Our standards
Every article on TechKnowvia is written to be genuinely useful to a busy reader who just wants a clear answer. We aim for clear structure, short paragraphs, and specific, practical guidance rather than filler or hype.
How we research
We base our reviews and comparisons on publicly available information: official product and pricing pages, vendor documentation, help centers, and public changelogs. When we describe what a tool does, we are describing its documented capabilities.
We do not fabricate hands-on testing, personal anecdotes, screenshots, or benchmarks. If we have not independently measured something, we do not claim that we have.
Keeping facts accurate
Prices, plan limits, and features change often. Before publishing, we confirm changeable details against the official source, and our reviews carry a "last checked" date so you know how current they are. We revisit popular articles periodically, and if you spot something out of date, please tell us and we will fix it.
How we choose what to recommend
Recommendations are based on real-world fit: ease of setup, value for money, availability by country, and how well a tool handles the specific job it is meant for. Affiliate relationships never determine our picks or our ratings. We call out weaknesses openly and recommend free tools when they are the better choice.
Updates and corrections
We revisit popular articles periodically and update the "last updated" date when we make meaningful changes. Corrections are made promptly once confirmed. To report an error, email hello@techknowvia.com.
Independence
TechKnowvia is independent. We are funded by affiliate commissions and, in the future, advertising. Neither funding source has any say over our editorial content. See our affiliate disclosure for details.
