Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: November 1, 2026
We believe in being upfront about how TechKnowvia is funded. This page explains our use of affiliate links in plain language.
What affiliate links are
Some of the outbound links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and then sign up for or buy a product, we may earn a small commission. This comes out of the vendor's marketing budget — it does not add anything to the price you pay, and in many cases the vendor offers the same or better deal than going direct.
How it affects our content
It doesn't. We choose which tools to cover and what to say about them based on their publicly documented features and real-world value to readers, not on whether a tool has an affiliate program or pays more. We include honest cons alongside pros, and we recommend free tools that pay us nothing when they are the right answer.
How we label affiliate links
Affiliate links use the rel="sponsored noopener" attribute, and we place a short disclosure near the top of any review or comparison that contains them, so you always know before you click.
FTC and advertising standards
This disclosure is provided in the spirit of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's endorsement guidelines and similar standards in the UK, Canada, and Australia. Our aim is simple: you should never be surprised about how a link works.
